Total Warrior Ninja School was founded in 2001 by Rick Tew, teaching Rick Tew’s Martial Science — a multi-martial art system founded on the philosophy of ninjutsu — in Thailand, California, New Zealand and Europe.

What’s here

Two things. A reference library covering the training curriculum, the terminology, the equipment and the historical record. And an archive of the four programs that ran between 2001 and 2024, preserved with the student accounts that came out of them.

Where the historical record on ninjutsu is thin or contested, these pages say so. There is already enough certainty about ninja on the internet.

Rick Tew

Rick began teaching in a martial arts school at seventeen, opened his first dojo at nineteen, and moved to Europe at twenty-one to develop his own system. He has taught in Europe, Thailand and the United States, and has appeared in Black Belt magazine. He is no longer running the programs.
